Rental organisation with command adhesive strips & 3D printing

It can be frustrating living in a rental. They’re often old and outdated, which normally means no insulation and terrible built in organisation. Removable adhesive strips are the go to solution, although the attachments can be pricey and ill suited to niche applications.

With some very basic 3D design and bugger all in material cost, you can create just about any kind of organisational attachment you can think of. I made this measuring spoon hook in under half an hour.

I whipped up this simple towel hook when the original adhesive hook broke. Design to final product is less than 2 hours including printing and it works the first time around, no need for iterating.

It’s not pretty, but it does the job.

Once you have the tools and adjust to the mindset of creating your own solutions, you’ll be drowning in projects you never you needed!
