Clothes Airer Support Hinge
I recently moved to a unit, and with no clothes line or clothes dryer, I’ve had to rely exclusively on a fold up clothes airer bought from Kmart.
The problem is that when this is used outside the wind tends to give it a beating so it ends up looking a bit more like the image below.
It’s probably not the intended application, but there is also a flaw in the design if the clip used is not centered the wing will have a tendency to collapse on one side - but i’ll get to fixing that one next.

The hinge is installed without any tools or fixings, although adhesive could be used to hold the tubes in more securely if required.
