Laser Cut Utensil Stand

Laser Cut Utensil Stand

Will my house never cease to be cluttered?! I’ve considered embracing minimalism… but then what would I do with my all of my free time?

Anyway, we’re here now so here’s another object I created to make my life just that little bit more organised. This utensil stand is laser cut from 12mm ply and uses 6mm dowel to create a series of hooks so that of my large utensils are no longer taking up coveted drawer space.

The braces along the bottom create a grid structure that allows smaller objects to be stored upright. I opted not to have a floor on this feature to prevent grid cavities from filling with crud that is both forgotten about and difficult to clean.

If you have access to the tools and need to free up space, head over to Thinigverse to cut the files and try for yourself. Using a vector drawing program you can easily customise the design to suit your specific bench space.
