DermaSuction Holder

DermaSuction Holder

Never could I have imagined saying the phrase ‘Suck the yuck’ so many times in such a short period, but here I am. My partner bought a DermaSuction to help her with… sucking the yuck. One thing the acquisition of more things does not help with however is mess. Especially for someone who has a tendency to leave things strewn about in a sort of chaotic beauty.

This is what I expected to happen to the DermaSuction…

Honestly, a very large portion of my functional 3D printing is things that I stick to walls to hold other things. Or more eloquently, enhancing the organisational capacity of my rented dwelling. Knowing this, I wanted to get it done quickly. This design was the first iteration, and like many of my other function designs, this worked good enough the first time to enter service. It’s a simple design that requires minimal support material and can be fixed to a wall using those ubiquitous command strips that are every renters best friend.

Hold the yuck.

Hold the yuck.

The four ‘nipples’ hold the spare tips neatly around the outside. The design would have also worked with 3 nipples because one tip will inevitably always be left on the unit but I was already so far down this path, and y’know… symmetry & shit.
